The journey from TV to debut in the film 'Yaariyan 2': Pearl V Puri

Pearl V Puri, who made her name in television shows like Naagin 3 and Bepannah Pyaar, made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Yaariyan 2'. Divya Khosla Kumar and Meezaan Jaffrey are in the lead roles. The film is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. It is produced under the banner of T-Series Films. Apart from these, Warina Hussain, Priya Prakash Warrier, Harman Baweja, and Anaswara Rajan are also seen in the film.

How do you feel about your debut in Bollywood from TV, what would you like to say to the fans?

It feels very good, like others, I also wanted to work in Bollywood one day. It's been ten years since I did TV and now I am doing films, I am very happy. The credit for this goes to those people who love me so much. It is only because of the blessings of people that I have come here. I just work hard and try, and because of your love and blessings, I have reached here today.

Yaariyan was a hit film, its songs were also hit, so what is your role in Yaariyan 2, and did you feel any pressure to do this film?

The scripts of both films are different, so there was no such pressure. There is only one similarity between both films and that is friendship, in that film there was the friendship of friends, but in this film, there is the friendship of cousins. The name of my character in this film is Bajrang, he is a simple, innocent religious boy, a bit like me, the only difference between him and me is that he is a bit scared and speaks very slowly. , gets scared of small things. I have gained seven kilos of weight for this film. Because actors are fitness freaks, and Bajrang is a common man who works in a corporation, travels by train, is afraid of his boss, so I have tried to show him like that. He loves his sisters and brothers very much, his life lies in his sisters and brothers. Bajrang is also very emotional, he cannot see anyone's sorrow, does not trouble anyone, and is ready to do anything for those whom he loves. I like the character of Bajrang very much.

What would you like to tell about your experience and feelings so far?

Overwhelming, I can't thank you enough. Being popular is not a big deal but earning love is very difficult, and the amount of gratitude we receive for the love we receive is less. I am very grateful to those people who have loved me.

After watching the film, did you feel that there was nothing left to do?

I am very critical about myself, we had a lot of limitations, our director was strict, I was a director's actor in the entire film, and I did whatever he told me. Sometimes our ideas about the character did not match but I gave my best as he asked. There is a little thing about the film, when the film comes, you think, why this shot did not come, why that scene was cut. Small things like this keep happening.

There have been a lot of ups and downs in your ten-year-long career, and there were some problems in your life even before the release of your film Yaariyan 2, so what would you like to say to the audience who still have some questions in their mind?

Life is all about ups and downs. If there is no happiness then there will be no sorrow, and if there is no sorrow then how will we feel happiness? These hardships teach you a lot. I never want to grow up, I want to remain a child. I don't like that feeling of growing up, I want to maintain the innocence within me. When problems came in between, I started feeling that life is not so beautiful, but when people stand with you in such times, then you feel that life is not so useless, life is very good, and people are very good if you are good. If yes then all is good.

How was your bonding with Divya and Meezaan during the shoot of Yaariyan 2?

Both are very nice, I have known Divya for a long time. Divya and I had done a song, ‘Teri Aankhon Mein’, so we had a good bond which you must have seen onscreen also. I met Meezaan for the first time on the set, I liked him very much as soon as we met, and we bonded well. There was no fun atmosphere on the set because our director was very strict, so we did not have any such fun on the set, but we had a lot of fun during the promotions. It was great working with both of them.

What message would you like to give to the audience and your fans after receiving so much love?

I can't thank you enough. You love me so much that I always think about what I should do so that I can return your love, and give you some happiness. I try every day to perform well and try to entertain you more. When you guys meet me, I will hug you and say thank you.
