THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW TO BE REVAMPED

Ace comedian Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show has been renewed by Sony despite lower TRPs than usual.

The show was in the news recently for being unable to retain its spot in TRPs and now the channel has decided to revamp its format to bring it back into the race again. According to a report in DNA, “The show will not go on any break but will go under revamp.”

The focus on inviting Bollywood stars would be reduced. However, Sunil Grover is not being invited back to the show. “He is welcome if he wants to return, but no one is sending out feelers to him; least of all Kapil,” says the same reports.

Another big concern for the makers of the show is  Kapil’s health. Kapil has fainted thrice on the sets of the show and long shooting hours have been blamed for this. The report states, “ He spends close six hours recording for The Kapil Sharma Show and then tries to shoot for film, Firang. The film is not going anywhere. It is a deadweight.”
