The film is poised to enter the Rs 300 crore club at the worldwide box office. On the other hand, the director of the movie Sudipto Sen's health has deteriorated. According to media reports, he has been admitted to the hospital.

So at this point his condition is not well, it is all because of the stress. However, when Sudipto Sen recovers, he will be visiting 10 cities to promote 'The Kerala Story'.They have stopped promoting because he is not well, after his recovery they will start promoting the movie. Sudipto Sen has planned that he will go to 10 countries to promote the film.

The film is also about the 3 girls whose minds get brainwashed by ISIS. There is so much of controversy in Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. The Kerala story went successful after so much of things.
