The last one and a half year has not been the best time for the three multi Khans who were the ruling King of the industry, but suddenly proved that they too had feet of clay when their eagerly awaited films toppled one after the another. Salman Khan had a bad experience at the box office with "Race 3". Shah Rukh Khan proved that even a Badshah could be a zero in another much hyped film produced by himself, "Zero" and to top it all Aamir Khan faced the biggest disaster of his career in "Thugs of Hindostan" which even the deadly combination of Amitabh and Aamir for the first time couldn't save.
The Khans will now have to fight a grim battle to regain their places of power. Salman at the moment is in a comfortable position with "Bharat" racing towards completion and simultaneously starting work on Sajid Nadiadwala "Inshallah" in which he has been teamed up with Alia Bhatt and may also lead the cast of Sajid Nadiadwala's next as the director ( Sajid had last directed "Kick" which did not make a very big flash)
Aamir is still waiting for the right script. There are talks about his starting work on a new film but nothing can be official unless he himself makes an announcement. In the meanwhile, he is trying his best to fight off the despair of the defeat he had to face in "Thugs of Hindostan". He produced a small film called "Rubaru Roshani" and more than films. He is busy working for the Paani Foundation which he has formed to help the farmers of Maharashtra who are facing a several water crisis.
And Shah Rukh has been looking for good scripts to suit his age because like he said recently, "How long can I romance around with girls less than half my age. It is high time I grew up".
While all the other heroes including Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are thinking of Netflix as an alternative, the three main Khans are still not game to fall for the new medium.
