Ruslaan Mumtaz who essays Dhruv Raichand of Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Says “According to me, a woman is a treasure for our country which only adds more and more value to our lives. Starting from a mother to a sister, a wife and then a daughter, a woman will only make your life better.

This women’s day, I would want our laws to get a little strict especially with the long hearings and proceedings. I need the people to be scared of doing any shameful act like rapes or even eve- teasing for that matter. The laws in our country are so liberal, that people do not think twice before considering any such sinful acts. The fear to the culprit should be as big as a murder case. I genuinely want this change in our lives this Women’s Day”

Namish Taneja who essays Samar from Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo says “A woman is a pride and not a responsibility and should be taught the right values that helps her grow well. I have seen many women who have been taught since birth to be a subordinate and to never have their own say. They feel they are born to suffer and with time they learn to live with it. I want women to stand for themselves, empower themselves and fight for themselves. Girija Oak who plays the role of Meghna Nikade in Ladies special says “I think It’s a good way to celebrate our sentiments through women’s day but It’s a shame on our part if we actually need to have a special day to celebrate a woman’s identity or her rights. According to me, it is not about men or women separately. We collectively as a society need to rethink our approach towards gender.
