Ruslaan Mumtaz who essays Dhruv Raichand of Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Says “According to me, a woman is a treasure for our country which only adds more and more value to our lives. Starting from a mother to a sister, a wife and then a daughter, a woman will only make your life better.

This women’s day, I would want our laws to get a little strict especially with the long hearings and proceedings. I need the people to be scared of doing any shameful act like rapes or even eve- teasing for that matter. The laws in our country are so liberal, that people do not think twice before considering any such sinful acts. The fear to the culprit should be as big as a murder case. I genuinely want this change in our lives this Women’s Day”

Ruslaan Mumtaz

Namish Taneja who essays Samar from Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo says “A woman is a pride and not a responsibility and should be taught the right values that helps her grow well. I have seen many women who have been taught since birth to be a subordinate and to never have their own say. They feel they are born to suffer and with time they learn to live with it. This women’s day, I would want each person to stand for such a woman, and teach her the importance of work, the importance of her individuality and identity. I think, if every woman understands her right and strengths, we will not have to change any law in our constitution.”

Namish Taneja

Bijal Joshi who essays Bindu Desai from Ladies Special says “According to me, there should not be any such thing like a woman’s day. Why do we need a day in a year where to celebrate a woman? Why not every day? I think, the conditions in our country have somehow got better in the last few years with the advancement in technology. In this case, if I talk about my own mother, she is aware about a lot of things in the surroundings before me and my brother. Also, This woman’s day, I am making a video for my You-tube channel about an incident that I personally hate the most which is Girls are always taught that your real home would be the one where you go after your marriage and after your marriage if you happen to do anything wrong, they ask us to go back to our own places which is actually not ours. Why don’t we have an identity of our own? Why are we always pushed from one end to other is the motive behind the video. And I think the women would be able to relate to it. All I want to say is Nazariya Badlo, and nothing else will be needed to change.”

Bijal Joshi as Bindu Desai from Ladies Special

Sahil Chadda who essays Viraaj from Ladies Special says “I think, changing our laws and constitution are a big thing but we should start from our own families and societies. I want women to stand for themselves, empower themselves and fight for themselves. Once, a woman knows her rights and duties well, not only for her family but for her own self, we will not have to make changes in any law or fight for any woman. A woman will be sufficient enough to stand against the world. So, this Women’s day I would like the pretty ladies to think about themselves and grow and evolve as a better human. Society should change the preset image which has been there since ages. Women are much more efficient, capable and powerful than we can even imagine.”

Sahil Chadda a.k.a Viraaj from Ladies Special

Chhavvi Pandey who essays Prarthana Kashyap says “I belong to a Small town- Patna where even these days I see women as subordinates and who have no rights and value of their own. Women Empowerment and security cannot increase by only talking about it, we need to take actions against it and especially during shameful acts like Rape. I feel there is an urgent need to change the laws in fact not have laws but rather difficult punishments for the rapists. I want such men to suffer severely that can’t even think of performing such sinful acts the next time. I get very angry when I hear about all these incidents. Be it a child or an old age woman, none of us are completely safe in this world. I can see the changes over the decade, but I want these changes to be applied in all the cities and not just metro cities like Mumbai or Delhi. All I want to say is Nazariya Badlo, and nothing else will be needed to change.””

Chhavvi Pandey

Girija Oak who plays the role of Meghna Nikade in Ladies special says “I think It’s a good way to celebrate our sentiments through women’s day but It’s a shame on our part if we actually need to have a special day to celebrate a woman’s identity or her rights. According to me, it is not about men or women separately. We collectively as a society need to rethink our approach towards gender. All I want to say is Nazariya Badlo, and nothing else will be needed to change.””

Girija Oak

Sneha Wagh who essays Mura in Chandragupta Maurya says “I think what needs to be changed for women in India is have a 100 percent employment rate and not only that but have an apt atmosphere for the women and especially a mother to work at any place. Also, enhance education quotient and boosting the leadership for a woman is much needed at this point.”

Sneha Wagh

Paridhi Sharma who plays the role of Babita in Patiala Babes says, “The power of being a woman cannot be conveyed by rearranging 26 letters of the English alphabets. It is an experience and believe me every woman no matter what she has suffered in her life, is still proud to be a woman. To summarize I would say that being woman is so powerful and wonderful that you don't need to seek love because love is part of women's existence. The condition of women will improve only when she realizes her true value, her real identity which has been suppressed for years. It's just a matter of one single thought, one self-belief and it will work wonders in her life. All I want to say is Nazariya Badlo, and nothing else will be needed to change. Happy Women’s Day.”

Paridhi Sharma

Ashi Singh who essays Naina in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai says, “This women’s day I feel the change I want to see is a smaller number of atrocities against women and more of women adding value to this ever-changing world. I believe in women empowerment and I’d like to spread this message as much as possible. Happy Women’s Day.”

Ashi Singh

Randeep Rai who essays Sameer in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai says, “My mom has always been an important part of my life and that has made me care and support about all the women I come across. This women’s Day I’d like to take an opportunity to spread the message of women empowerment and see a smile on every women’s face rather than facing societal issues.”
