Kamal Haasan and A R Rahman to work together after 19 years on a magnum opus titled Thalaivan Irukkindraan Music director A R Rahman took to Twitter to make the grand announcement on that he will be working with the legend himself, Mr Kamal Haasan for an upcoming Magnum Opus "Thalaivan Irukkindraan", a film by Lyca Productions and Raaj Kamal Films International.

A R Rahman shared, “Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only @ikamalhaasan himself on a magnum opus... Watch this space for more @RKFI @lycaproductions #RKFI #lycaproductions” Further to his post Kamal Haasan replied by saying, "Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation. Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew @RKFI @LycaProductions”
