The light will always tear the heart of darkness and win

I have seen the many faces of talent anywhere and everywhere, but I have a very strong belief that if there is one country that abounds in talent, it is our dear country. All we need to give strength to this belief is to open the eyes of our minds and let me assure you that your eyes will be dazzled and mesmerized by the variety of talent that India has. When will we discover our unknown and unseen ability to recognize true talent? If we don’t, we surely are castigated and criticized for not respecting talent. Ali Peter John

Some of my friends who have been witnesses to my rise

I’m happy to have been granted the gift of recognizing talent in any field and my decisions have rarely gone wrong, thank God. I may have discovered 100s of talented young men and women during the last 50 years and most of them are in high places today and are seen as an example of how talent can take someone, anyone from a place called nowhere to a place where millions shine in their light and celebrate their lives because they feel enlightened and entertained by the talent of the people I had seen a long time ago. Some of my friends who have been witnesses to my rise will also know that my rise was because of the talent I kept recognizing and bringing them into the limelight.

And before I go into one more of my preachings which are actually teaching for those who care to learn, let me introduce you to Diveyaa Dwivedi who I have known ever since I knew what it was to know.

I had a feeling that she could have tried her talent in the then Bombay

I had heard about Diveyaa as a talented actress for giving expressions to her unbridled talent in films made in Bhojpuri and how her talent traveled to Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and other regional films. I had a feeling that she could have tried her talent in the then Bombay, the ultimate city where talent gives an opportunity to all those who have genuine fire in them. And before I could think of Diveyaa again, she was already in the city of dreams armed with her own dreams.

I could think about her again, her talent had influenced and inspired makers of significant tv serials, and one of the best things to happen to her talent was when producer Dr. Trinetra Bajpai and his actress wife Kanka together with the Titan of talent, Lekh Tandan cast Diveyaa in the lead role of their mega serial Bikhri Aas Nikhri Preet, which was a turning point for her.

After doing one more good serial, destiny walked into her life and if I may say so tossed her into a whirl of circumstances from which she had the courage and the conviction to walk out without her talent being touched or harmed in any way. She was still the same charming, brave and the extremely amiable and still the extremely talented actress who could be among the leading actresses of the times, but she had to wait as that seemed to be the plan of destiny and God who she firmly believe in during good times and bad times, a God who has not let her down at any time and who she still believes will change the course of her life.

The fighter in her keeps the light of talent in her alive in times of adversity. And to prove this aspect of her life, she even did a Gujarati film in the lead role and gave her talent a big boost when she won the prestigious GIFA Award which was presented to her in the presence of some leading dignitaries.

She is now back to being the fighter with the fire she always is and is ever so willing to start another chapter in her life and is very optimistic about winning in this new phase of her life and career too.

I keep listening to stories about women who have the fire to reach out to the sky of success and claim their deserving place with the stars in the sky, and I must advise the sky, my friend that there is a young woman who is all set to meet the sky and ask it why it had taken its time to grant her the recognition, appreciation, and fame she so richly deserves.

Dear sky, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you about the flight of this amazing woman, Diveyaa who I have no doubt will reach you and face you and even fight with you for not being very kind to her.
