The story of the film ' Shamshera' dates back to the 1870s. It depicts the story of a tribe whose dacoits take on the British Empire for their rights. Sanjay Dutt is in the role of Villain in this and he has played the role of Inspector Shuddh Singh who inflicts oppression on the poor and helpless people.
