June 2023: When Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla believe in something, they honour that belief with flair, flamboyance and of course, fashion. One of their core values has always been to unapologetically be who you are. To take pride and claim your personal power. And that's what 'Satrangi' is about - a celebration of all our colours in all our glory.

Say Abu Sandeep, "As creators, designers and human beings, we aim to enable a discrimination-free world. We believe in the power of Pride because authenticity, a good heart and genuine talent can be found in anyone no matter what their preferences are. The Satrangi Campaign celebrates identity, inclusivity and community, a belonging beyond birth - with style."

Suzzane Khan generously opened the doors to her store, The Charcoal Project, where the film was shot. The set became a lavish real-life tea party blooming with unique personalities and universal acceptance. Decor by The Drama Queen captured the aesthetics of the pride soiree through rustic aesthetics paired with the enchanting Garden of Eden. Lush moss and delicate white wildflowers blossomed from the chandeliers, creating a dreamlike setting. A decadent grazing table adorned with artisanal cheeses and a medley of succulent berries was curated by I’m Wholesome India. The theme of the celebration was felt even behind the camera.

Sonali and Goldie comment "As a society, the sooner we normalise non-judgmental acceptance, the better our world will be. In Satrangi, Abu Sandeep have presented serious ideas in a light, wholesome way and we are glad to be a part of it."
Mozez Singh adds "Everybody on this earth is having a human experience and we're all the same. We feel the same love and pain as everyone else. Our private preferences should never affect the way we're perceived and most certainly should not stand in the way of our rights."

Featuring garments from their eponymous couture label and pret line, Gulabo, the collection represents an extravagant ode to Pride where rainbow colours dance over canvases of solid black and white. The colourful concept is expressed through couture and art in scrupulous detail with pride-coloured bejewelled briefs, buttons, roses, beads, striped collars, heart motifs and exaggerated bows, pleats, drapes and ruffles. From subtle to bold, every detail reflects and honours individual preferences.
Abu Sandeep have always been passionate advocates of inclusivity. Their Gulabo campaign called 'Open the Door to Love', the 'Proud to Love' campaign with pride influencers and the most recent 'Glory of Giddha' with the gender-defying Noor Zora group reflect their perennial commitment to the cause - a commitment that lasts far beyond Pride Month.
