On the last day of the 9th Global Literature Festival, Noida, organized by the Asian Academy of Arts, a symposium was organized on the topic: Contribution and Challenges of Women Writers in the Indian Literary Scenario. Discussing this topic, members of AAFT University Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Marwah said that although our literature is full of women writers, be it Subhadrakumari Chauhan, Mahadevi Verma, Shivani, Krishna Sobti, Usha Priyamvada, Mannu Bhandari or Amrita Pritam, but as far as I think, in Hindi literature Women are still struggling to create their own identity, while their writings have the energy that can guide any person.

On this occasion, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Sameer Anjaan, lyricist of films like Beta, Saajan, Raja Hindustani, Devdas, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Sinisa Pavic, in-charge of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Delhi, Hindi, Urdu and Awadhi poet Pratap Sehgal, writer Tanmay Dubey, novelist Jyoti Jha, J.P. Singh Sahni, Naresh Mudgal and senior BJP leader Vijay Jolly expressed their views on this topic and answered the questions of the students. Lyricist Sameer, while addressing the students, said that if you have rhythm, love and interest in music, then it is easy to write Ghazal songs. It is not that only the one whose heart is broken can write the song, but the one who is heartbroken can also write well. loves you Vijay Jolly said that today's youth is ahead in every field and knows how to work hard. In such events, I get to learn a lot of new things and there is no age limit for learning. Tanmay Dubey said that today students have a lot of opportunities to show their abilities, not just doctors and engineers, today's youth have the open sky, they just need to take the right flight to spread their wings.

In the end, Dr. Rama Singh was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, along with Bharatnatyam dancer Kumari Somashekhari, Ustad Akram Khan, Tabla Sameer Sheetala Pandey, Bollywood lyricist Pt. Ram Dayal Sharma, Nautanki folk artist Krishna for promoting poetic art and culture. Kanhai, painter Devendra Raj Ankur, theater Sitesh Alok, writer Dolly Dabral, poet and writer Aditya Arya, and photographer were awarded the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Award.
