These Bollywood movies narrate the story of Kargil war!

Today 23 years have been completed since India's victory in the Kargil war. 26 July is the day in the history of India when India forced Pakistan to retreat in this Kargil war which lasted for almost 2 months in the year 1999.

Since then, this day is celebrated every year as Vijay Diwas in honor of the soldiers who died in the Kargil War. Many films were also made in Bollywood taking inspiration from the Kargil war. Come, on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, we will tell you about the films made on Kargil war in Bollywood.

1. LOC Kargil (2003)

JP Dutta's film 'LOC Kargil', which came in the year 2003, is completely focused on the story of the 1999 war. The film perfectly depicts the courage and valor of the Indian Army along with bringing to the fore the ground reality of the Kargil War.

Stars like Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Ashutosh Rana, Saif Ali Khan, Raveena Tandon, Rani Mukerji, Esha Deol, Mahima Chaudhary were seen playing important roles in this film directed by JP Dutta.

2. Dhoop (2003)

Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer film 'SherShaah' which was released in the year 2021, is based on the Kargil war. The film is basically a biopic of Captain Vikram Batra, who was martyred on 7 July 1999 while saving the life of his companion.

The film 'Shershaah' specially shows how the brave soldiers of our army defeated the enemy Pakistani army while climbing the cold-icy peaks from 16 thousand to 18 thousand feet high.
