Many well-known personalities shared their reasons for not using fireworks and they believe that Diwali should be celebrated with love, joy, and goodwill towards animals and birds. Disha Patani: "This Diwali, let's be considerate and take care of animals and birds. Have a pet-friendly Diwali and stay away from bursting crackers. Let's make this festival a celebration of light and love." Last year, too, she had urged people to celebrate pet-friendly Diwali and refrain from bursting crackers. This year too, her biggest request is to protect animals, small children, sick people, and the elderly from all types of pollution.
