THIS 'FRIENDS' FAN THEORY PROVES RACHEL SHOULD HAVE ENDED UP WITH JOEY NOT ROSS

F.R.I.E.N.D.S gave the world five most iconic and legendary characters. I mean, we all use references from the show in our day-to-day lives and don't shy away from looking down upon those who don't get those references.

From the get go, Ross and Rachel were considered the ideal couple and almost everyone was rooting for them to end up together, but not @kaneandgriffin, a Twitter user, who has posted a thread of over 100 tweets proving why Joey was a much better companion for Rachel than Ross ever was. Needless to say, the internet went berserk and while a lot of fans were jolted, many instantly made sense of all the tweets and our lives changed forever.

Ross had always idolised and looked up to Rachel, his sister's friend. He never really thought he could end up with a girl like her so when they finally do end up together, he's quite a possessive boyfriend and he only wants himself to be the centre of her universe. To top it all, he's always giving the 'we were on a break' excuse in defence of sleeping with a girl within 24 hours of breaking up with Rachel. Cringe worthy, isn't it? And all this while, we looked up to them as the best couple ever. Quite sure most of us don't feel the same about them after having read the meaningful and logical rant.
