International Women's Day Celebrates #Embrace Equity

Women Listed and Ashhwika Foundation Hosts #EmbraceEquity To Celebrate The Diversity Of Womanhood March 2023, New Delhi.:

Women Listed and Ashhwika Foundation recently hosted #EmbraceEquity at Udman Hotels by FNP. an evening which celebrated the diversity of womanhood with round table discussions and riveting conversations, on women empowerment, creating a nurturing ecosystem and a safe space for women in the society, knowledge sharing and building mental resilience. The invitees included women entrepreneurs and activists from diverse economic and social backgrounds who commemorated their journeys about overcoming challenges and emerging victorious. The list of speakers included Divya Kotawala – Businesswomen & Author, Alka Kapur – Educationist, Sanya Taneja – Fashion Designer, Yuthika Khanna- Psychologist, Rashi Anand-Social Worker, Tanya Bakshi-Speaker, Arpana- Social Entrepreneur, Arpana Khanna – Spiritual And Mindfulness Life coach, Ritu Saini- TEDx Speaker, acid attack survivor and Shama Soni Founder Ashwika Foundation.

Shama Soni, the founder of Ashhwika Foundation, launched her Naari campaign, an initiative dedicated to bringing women from different walks of life together to inspire and support others., including herself.
“The vision of the Naari Campaign is to create a community of women who uplift each other and embark on an empowerment journey together, helping other women gain confidence, knowledge, and other such skills, “said Shama.
Women Listed and Ashhwika Foundation chose to partner this International Women’s Day as they recognize that equity is not just a ‘nice-to-have’ but rather a ‘must-have’. The concept of equity goes beyond mere equality, acknowledging that different people have different needs and challenges that require diverse solutions. When we #embraceequity, we acknowledge and address these differences, creating a more inclusive and fair society.
Women Listed, it is a powerful initiative that aims to bring all women entrepreneurs under one roof, making it easier for them to connect and collaborate. The platform provides a comprehensive solution for women who want to take their business to the next level with features such as listing, networking, marketing, and learning. Women Listed aims to reach 25 million women and add 1 Lakh women professionals to their network by 2025.
Ashhwika Foundation is working towards providing a platform for mental & emotional well-being by breaking the stigma around mental health and providing a place to ‘Reveal and heal’ the inner self. The event served as an opportunity to acknowledge and address the different needs and challenges that women face.
