THIS IS GOING TO BE THE NEW NORMAL FOR A LONG TIME NOW, SAYS SUDIPTO BALAV ABOUT LOCKDOWN

Everyone across the world has been confined to their houses and while this period is tough for everyone, actor Sudipto Balav says that it is also a time of learning. The actor says that this period has helped him self reflect on his life and career. “I have been going through several changes mentally, emotionally, physically because of this global lockdown. I think the biggest lesson the lockdown has taught the human race is to look inside themselves, because when you stay in a normal situation, your mind is always diverted somewhere or the other. You are tempted to look more in the outer world. But during this lockdown, I think each and every individual has got a chance to look at how they are from inside. My career as an actor, producer or hotelier, every aspect has been affected.  There are a lot of changes happening and that is going to be new normal for a long time,” he says.

Ask him how he keeps himself motivated, and he says, “I watch a lot of Hindi films whenever I feel low. I watch those old and commercial films. I cook too as I love cooking and I professionally cooked in my restaurant where we catered to a large number of people. I like to play with my dogs, too, that another stress buster.” He has already planned what he is going to do once the lockdown is lifted. “When the lockdown gets over, the two more important things I am looking forward to doing is going for a drive because I love driving. I have driven across the length and breathe of the country so I want to drive somewhere. I want to get back to set even if I am not shooting, still, I will visit other people’s set because the surroundings of the set recharge my mind,” he says.
