They say, "A woman who wants to be like a man, lacks ambition." But what if being a man decides her sheer survival? This Woman's Day, the prolific Smiriti Kalra takes you on one such journey. For the first time she plays a man and a woman in a 7 minute short film, which won her The Best Actor Award in 2018.

She believes women don't need a day to celebrate the power of women. But then even Goddesses don't necessarily need a special day to be worshipped. Thus we need a Woman's Day as a reminder of how a woman is much more than what meets the eye. And that's exactly what the short film AMBU is all about. It premiere's this Woman's Day on Pocket Films, India's most popular Short Films portal. Coinciding with it's Worldwide Premiere at Filmapalooza 2019 in Orlando on the 8th of March. This film becomes even more special for Smiriti as she has co-directed this film. But we are eager to know, what does AMBU mean? To find out, log on to www.pocketfilms.in
