This World Music Day Tinder Reveals India’s Top 10 Spotify Anthems On User Profiles

All Tinder India users can now link their Spotify accounts to their profiles and play previews of potential matches’ top songs via Spotify right from their profiles. If you link your Spotify account, you will also be able to see artists you have in common with other users. To add to the swiping experience, you also have the capability to pick an Anthem for your profile. Basically, the one song that defines you.

Since Spotify’s launch earlier this year in India, Tinder users have been broadcasting their Spotify Anthems along with top Spotify artists on their profiles. What better way to Swipe, than by a shared taste in music. So, for World Music Day, Tinder reveals the top ten 10 Spotify Anthems on user’s profiles in India.

Tinder reflects Gen Z’s reality and over 30% of users on Spotify are Gen Z globally, making them the largest audience on the audio streaming app.  So it’s no surprise that  Sunflower by Post Malone slides into #1 position on Tinder and also features in Spotify’s Top 50 India and Global charts, Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy comes in at #2 (both on Tinder and Billboard top 10) and on Spotify’s global top 50 and Viral India top 50 charts. Old Town Road (Remix) gets #3 and appears on multiple Spotify charts. If you’re looking for Lambhergini, look no further, it comes in at #5. No music list in 2019 is complete without Arianna Grande, and Tinder users agree with 7 Rings taking the #10 spot.
