Thunderous Applause Drowns Nashik Dhols At Thackeray Trailer Launch

Carnival IMAX Wadala donned on a festive look with Tutaris and Nashik Dhols, melodiously merging with the colour of the day, Saffron. Festive flags of Saffron, with a tinge of Gold, swayed to the music, aided by the ever-helpful winds. Balasaheb Thackeray looked happily down at the festivities from the twenty feet cut-out, set atop a majestic pillar. The trailer, more than did justice to the amazing effort that went into creating an environment, befitting the aura of Balasaheb Thackeray.

A Balasaheb Thackeray memorabilia corner, the Maratha seal and the majestic statue of Shivaji Maharaj seated atop a throne, as the flags saluted the spirit of the environs.

In the theatre, the thunderous applause to the trailer of the much awaited biopic, Thackeray, even drowned the sounds of the Nashik Dhol, doing justice to the ethereal ambience.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the Shiv Sena Supremo in the stellar role in and as Thackeray alongside Amrita Rao who will portray Meenatai Thackeray, with a team of dedicated national and international award-winning technicians. The film is directed by Abhijit Panse and is set for a worldwide release on January 25, 2019.
