Tisca Chopra has been speaking to varied celebrities on her show Tête-à-Tête With Tisca Chopra, where she tries to go unplugged and show a side of the celeb that audiences have probably never seen before.
Her recent episode was with the stellar Pankaj Tripathi, and in that, the two spoke a lot about how important training is in the field of acting.
While Pankaj Tripathi is a formally trained actor from the National School Of Drama, Tisca Chopra is someone who comes from a theater background.
During the interaction, Tisca poses a very interesting question to Pankaj Tripathi about the importance of training in an actor’s life.
Tisca Chopra says, “I always feel bad for myself when I speak to trained actors because I never went to FTII or NSD.
I did theatre and got my first film, which bombed and then I stopped getting work, and then finally I did more theater and then started getting good work.
I am always in two minds about whether acting is a god gift, or it is something that can be learned, or maybe learned to a certain extent but a little has to be inborn.
” Pankaj Tripathi reverts assuring her thoughts that training is indeed necessary. Check out the entire chat right here
