It was a Friday to remember for Mumbai’s diehard music fans, as TM Music’s Audio Only held an exclusive launch to release five brand new Hip Hop tracks. Featuring some of the most exciting young talents in the industry, the event was all about empowering fresh artistes, with anti-social Mumbai serving as the official venue.

‘Qurbaan’ by UMX, ‘Kaun Hoon Main’ by Jway, ‘Rehbarr’ by Danish, ‘Zameen Se’ by DRV and Boyblanck, and ‘Infamous’ by Badal, are the five songs that were unveiled at the event. Each and every track released has a unique, powerful and distinct theme.

While ‘Qurbaan’ speaks about differences between two lovers, ‘Kaun Hoon Main’ reveals rapper Jway’s true journey and his undying passion for music, ‘Rehbarr’ talks about inner peace and finding a guiding light, ‘Zameen Se’ sees DRV and Boyblanck rap about their life choices and real roots, and ‘Infamous’ takes an unfiltered look at Badal’s tumultuous image.

Conceptualised and created by TM Music, ‘Audio Only’ is an original platform that celebrates music in its purest audio form. Focused on nurturing numerous musical talents, it aims to be the leading hub for music discovery by connecting fans to artistes through live sessions and events.

Speaking on the idea behind planning the grand event, Rohit Sobti, Co-Founder, TM Music said, “ TM Music believe in discovering and nurturing the finest of musical talent and taking their craft to right audience.  This event was held to not just launch, but also celebrate these fine young super talented artistes. Talking about his song launch, UMX said, “Qurbaan is a tune that is made from the heart, and is meant to touch every listener’s heart. To get a distinct platform like Audio Only to showcase my track is an exciting dream come true”.

Sharing his thoughts on the event, Jway said, “I have woven my entire life’s journey into the soul of Kaun Hoon Main. I am glad that Audio Only gave me such a meaningful opportunity to explore my passion for music and put all of it into this special song”.

Speaking of the journey behind his track, Danish said, “Rehbarr is much more than a song, it reflects the rollercoaster that we call life. It is also an ode to everyone’s search for inner peace. It is an exciting experience to witness my song being launched in such a special way”.

Musical duo DRV and Boyblanck said, “We have tried to capture the spirit of our humble roots in Zameen Se. The song is also a celebration of any and every person who’s hustled their way to success without any easy hand dealt to them by life”.

Talking about Infamous, Badal said, Talking about Infamous, Badal said, “I’ve taken a raw and unflinching look on my journey with this song. It also has an important message of struggle and independence for the youth. I am very excited about Infamous being part of this launch”.
