Your film “Surkhiyaan” was released in 1985. There have been many changes in cinema since then, how do you view these changes?
-The biggest change in 1985 was that these three people Pahlaj Nihalani, KC Bokadia, and Gulshan Kumar had come. Yashraj Chopra was coming from behind. Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra were going to disappear. In 1987, 'Baazigar' And 'Jadugar' was about to come. Both were unsuccessful. It meant the time of the end of his career was coming, but Yash Chopra was about to go ahead. In the nineties, Tips and Venus music companies emerged rapidly with Gulshan Kumar. Then Music Paramount It happened. Music used to be recorded first. Earlier the music used to be a hit. With the money that came from it, the shooting of the film started. But in 2005, the third change came. This story starts with Shatrughan Sinha. Shatrughan Sinha while being an MP. Due to the efforts of the corporate system started in Bollywood.

Did you take a long break before “Fire of Love Raid”?
-It is not so. Last year i.e., in January 2022, my film 'Why I Killed Gandhi' was released. In 2012, my film 'Rocking Dard A Disco' was released. In 2014, my film 'Riyasat' was released. Accordingly, there was a gap of eight years between 'Riyasat' and 'Why I Killed Gandhi'. Although the shooting of 'Why I Killed Gandhi' was done in 2017, I was looking for the right environment to screen this film. So much so that you can also understand that this film would not have been released in any other time period. See, when I read the last statement of Nathuram Godse, the ground slipped from under my feet. I felt that this guy was hanged for the crime he committed. But the statement he gave before the court should come before everyone. It should not be suppressed. I realized that even after being hanged, his soul would rest in peace. I am not able to find it, because his voice has been suppressed till now. I felt happy by making this film. Now I feel that Nathuram Godse's soul must have been satisfied. The biggest beauty of Nathuram Godse is that he accepts his mistake. He is understanding. He is not enjoying killing Gandhi like he would be killing Yasin Malik or any other criminal or terrorist. He is in a religious crisis in the same way as Arjun was in a religious crisis when he was asked to He had gone to shoot arrows at Guru Dronacharya. Nathuram Godse considers himself a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He has also gone to jail several times in Gandhiji's non-cooperation movement. Even if you are not a congressman, you were a big fan of Mahatma Gandhi at that time. There was respect. He also said that I want to convey my point. Osho Rajneesh has also said that common people make small mistakes. But great people make big mistakes. Actually, accepting the partition of the country was the biggest blunder of Mahatma Gandhi. If he says that the British imposed it, then what did they impose? When the British issued the salt order, then the AAP movement Did it. Marched on foot. You also fought against the Act of 1935. But how did you silently accept the partition? After all, who was Jinnah? When the debate was going on in 1937, where was Jinnah? In 1942, you started the 'Quit India Movement' by asking Jinnah. If Jinnah had been serious about the partition of the country, he would not have built his bungalow on Malabar Hill in Mumbai by 1946. Jinnah was only making political noise. If Gandhiji had not agreed, then partition was not in the interest of the British. Were Bhagat Singh or Sukhdev hanged for the partition of the country?

What kind of reactions did you get after 'Why I Killed Gandhi'?
-No response received. I am living in the country with the highest civilization in the world, the second thing was the same as the feeling, the three statues I saw were the same... 'If you are a thief, then there will be thieves all around you. My mind is clear. I am dedicated to India. I am dedicated to the formless Brahma and my Gods and Goddesses. I never feel that I should worship them for the sake of the formless. When you talk about angels, I say that why don't you accept the Gods and Goddesses as angels? You believe that apart from Allah, there are angels. Then why are you fighting a battle instead of accepting the Gods and Goddesses as angels? I am calm. Your mother is Brahma, who gave birth to you. She is giving. Your father is Vishnu, who is raising you. Your teacher is Lord Shiva, who is destroying your ignorance. When ignorance is destroyed, then pure knowledge arises.
A few months ago, Raj Kumar Santoshi also brought a film “Gandhi vs Godse”?
-Look, there is a very fine line between cinema and journalism. These days, both of them are violating their own Lakshman Rekha. The religion of journalism is that whatever incident is happening, you will describe it objectively. It means that whatever incident happens, it has two sides, the journalist The job of cinema is to present both sides in front of the people. There will be no inclination towards any one side. Whereas today's media is going towards one side or the other. There is a condition within the cinema that you will take sides. As long as unless you take the side of the hero, the film will not be successful. If you make the villain grey, make him human, then the film is bound to fail. That is why the film should be one-sided. When you take Gandhi and Godse, So Gandhi's point of view is being used all over the world. The interest lies in Godse's point of view. Raj Kumar Santoshi presented it in an excellent way. He highlighted every character well. But when he started creating harmony, that’s where everything went wrong. That's why the film failed. Because the audience did not want this harmony. Raj Kumar Santoshi should have put the reputation he has earned in forty years at stake and presented Godse in the right perspective. If the film was made in Godse's Favor, it was sure to be a success.
What is the movie “Fire of Love Raid”?
-This is the story of a psycho man, who has become a killer due to some events in his life. In this, Krishna Abhishek is in the role of a psycho killer. With this film, Krishna Abhishek will become a film star. Apart from this, Payal Ghosh, Arun Bakshi, Bharat Dabholkar, and other artists are also there.
It is being said that these days cinema is being made according to the current government.
-At present, the condition of the government and Bollywood is the same. Because society will not progress unless there is a struggle. But if we do not grease that struggle, then it can spread. Songs do the work of greasing. It is necessary to have songs like 'Ude Jab Jab Zulfen Teri'. The issue of cow slaughter is going on. If people are angry, then there should be talk of love among them. Sadly, in the present times, Indian cinema and politics have definitely changed. Yes, but it is not able to do the job of oiling the grease. You cannot develop cinema only by giving films like 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Kerala Story'. Along with such films, with imaginary stories and melodious songs. Perfect films must be made, but we are not able to do so. That is why at present people are becoming disillusioned with cinema.

So, is today's filmmaker not able to understand this truth?
-In reality, today's filmmaker is not making films for cinema. He is making films only to run his household. I am telling the truth, every director is directing films only to run his kitchen. He does not care about this. It is not about how the film is being made. I am not blaming anyone. But we cannot close our eyes to the truth that ninety-nine percent of the directors of Bollywood are making films only to run their household. In such a situation, the audience Somewhere he gets sidelined. The director is engrossed in pampering the star artiste. He keeps pampering the producer and financier. In such a situation, according to the advice of all these, he keeps dividing the film by making changes. If the artist or the producer does not follow the advice of the financier, then the shooting of that director's film will be stopped. I myself have gone through this, hence I know the truth. I have also gone through this worry as to how the arrangements will be made to pay the next installment of the house? This is the biggest enemy of cinema. In my opinion, the right to make a film should be given to the one who is not worried about running a household. Only that director can make the right film, who tells the star artist that you are speaking wrong. I would like to narrate an incident I heard. Film director JP Dutta's film was stopped midway because Vinod Khanna had suddenly gone to America. He had no work. He was sitting idle at home. Then he got the film 'Gulaami'. He got the opportunity to direct 'Ranjit Singh Choudhary' starring Dharmendra in the lead role. This was a big deal for JP Dutta. According to what I have heard, on the very first day of shooting, Dharmendra called JP Dutta and gave him some advice regarding the film. Hearing this JP Dutta asked Dharmendra - 'Sir, why are you giving me this advice?' ..Dharmendra ji remained silent. After some time, JP Dutta said - 'You are giving me this advice so that the film can get success at the box office.' Dharmendra immediately said, 'Yes, not like that.' Then. JP Dutta folded his hands in front of Dharmendra and said - 'But I don't want your advice. I have to make a failed film. You do only what is written in the script.' In those days, Dharmendra was a big star in his own right. So Dharmendra's 'Ego' got hurt. Dharmendra left the set and went home. Shooting stopped. People assumed that this film of JP Dutta was also stopped. But it did not happen. After a week, Dharmendra again returned to the film. He was associated with 'Gulaami' and completed the film by following every order of director JP Dutta on the set like an artist. The film 'Gulaami', released on 28 June 1985, is considered an important film in Dharmendra's career. From this film, Dharmendra got A new lease of life was given. So, until the director becomes strong, the artist will continue to sink the film by doing whatever he wants. But today the star artists are deciding who will be the director of the film and how that director will work. In such a situation, how can you expect that the film will be good?

You said that the country or Bollywood cannot run only on 'The Kashmir Files' or 'The Kerala Story'...?
- Yes...To be honest, there was a need to make this kind of cinema because the media and journalists did not do their job properly. If the media was doing their job properly, then there would have been a need to make these films. I don't understand what the media does in the name of political correctness and secularism. In my opinion, why is a religion which is not at all circular, given protection under the guise of secular? This religion is neither secular nor democratic. Our Constitution has four pillars - "Sovereign, Socialist, Democratic, and Secular. No one may feel bad, but I am technically saying that Islam only believes in the sovereignty of Allah. Islam does not believe in the sovereignty of the nation. That is why Islam is not comfortable with the sovereignty of the Constitution. It is also in socialism. He doesn't believe it. He doesn't even believe in the Republic. Islam only believes in Khilafat. After Allah, he believes in profit, after profit, only in the Caliphate. There is no democracy etc. in his system.

These days social media is dominant. Has this caused any harm to Bollywood?
-No... the benefits have been more. Earlier the film was promoted on TV, for which a lot of money had to be spent. Earlier people like UTV were looting. Today it is social media. Every person, big or small, can share his/her work on YouTube. Getting publicity by uploading advertisement videos. Now upload the teaser and trailer of the film, and you get crores of views, that too for free. The trailer of the film is seen by the whole world. Today, by planning properly, you can inform your bank through social media. You can send money to anyone through this medium. You have put up hoardings, but how will you know who has seen them? But through YouTube, you realize that this audience will watch your kind of cinema. Very soon social media will start saying that your film in which theatre will the audience watch it? Social media is the biggest gift in democracy. The ideological revolution that is coming in Pakistan is because of the Internet. Because of the Internet, a new revolution is coming in the whole world. This divine Now the past should be discarded. I am a devotee of Lord Ramchandra, it does not mean that I wear a dhoti and start walking with a bow and arrow. We can wear jeans and a T-shirt. Similarly, some Mohammed Saheb If someone believes in it then it is not necessary that he keep the same type of beard and wear a cap. Imitation has to be stopped.

Current situation of Bollywood...?
-It is going through a big change. You can tell to keep your heart 'Zara Hat Kar Zara Bachke' is a hit. Or to keep your heart calm, say that 'Satya Prem Ki Katha' is a hit. This is stupid talk. The films are not working. Looking at the actors in these films, these films should have earned at least Rs 150 crore. But it did not happen. When the producer presents the wrong figures and asks us to clap, if we are slaves, we will clap. You see what has been the fate of films like Brahmastra, Adipurush, Tejas, Ganpat.
I don't understand what is the problem in making films with new bilingual artists. Once Shahrukh Khan also came from the serial 'Circus'. There will be many Shahrukhs in the new generation, there is a need to groom them properly and give them a chance. Akshay Kumar also came in the same way. Now why did we assume that only the star's son will become an actor? But I think ‘Life is self-correcting’.
In fact, we have become the new rich. Star artists have got a lot of money. They are making strange films. Due to this, even the audience is confused as to what kind of cinema they are making. We are neither watching our old films nor getting inspired by them.
