Wrote a story of a woman traveling and discovering herself, which was based on the film "Jhimma". The film revolves around healing her wounds, loving herself, overcoming her worst fears while traveling. These seven women become good friends while fighting and celebrating life. The film was produced by Kshiti Jog, Ajinkya Dhamaal, Vijay Gawas, Urfi Kazmi and Sunny Shah under the banner of 'Chalchitra Mandali' and Crazy Films. Irawati Karnik had written the screenplay on the story of Hemant Dhome, while Hemant Dhome himself took up the responsibility of direction. The film stars Siddharth Chandekar, Sonali Kulkarni, Suchitra Bandekar, Nirmiti Sawant, Kshiti Jog, Suhas Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Mrinmayi Godbole, Hemant Dhome, Anant Jog, Tyler Bayliss, Nandini Chhatrali Gupte and Maithili Patwardhan starred. The film, released in theaters on 19 November 2021, earned more than Rs 14 crore at the box office and became the second highest-grossing Marathi film of 2021.

Once again Iravati Karnik took the responsibility of writing the screenplay. And named it "Jhimma 2", which is ready to reach the theaters on 24 November 2023. On the special occasion of Diwali, on the second day of Diwali i.e., Monday, 13th November, 'Jhimma 2' will be screened at BKC in Mumbai, MCA in Bandra.
