TRAILER OF RANA DAGGUBATI'S UPCOMING WEB SERIES, 'SOCIAL' IS OUT

Rana Daggubati who rocked the nation with his extra-ordinary performance in Baahubali series and then, The Ghazi Attack is all set to make his debut in the web-series, Social and the trailer, launched yesterday, will get you all the more excited for this venture.

The series will be launched on Viu and will talk about the pros and cons of social media. It is the story of four different individuals who come together to solve the mystery of a missing girl. It is being directed by Shashi Sudigala. Naveen Kasturia and Canadian actor Priya Banerjee will be seen in pivotal roles along with Rana.

Naveen Kasturia (TVF fame) is making his debut for the first time in a bilingual series and he is all excited about it. Talking about the same, he said, “My character in Social is a very simple, organised and a good-hearted guy, who I relate to quite a bit, except the organised part. He loves his family but isn’t a very social guy, however he has to work with a group of people to find his missing sister. What got me to sign this show is that it is an extremely interesting script and Shashi is an amazing director to work with.”

When asked about the show, this is what Rana had to say, "This is my first digital fiction and I strongly feel that with Social we are offering some exciting yet relevant content to our viewers. It is a story that will connect with the digital-first audience and as an actor, I am glad to be experimenting with different genres and platforms. Today, social media is a big part of our lives and with this show, we are portraying the need to be aware of the reality and consequences of our actions in the digital world."
