Tulsi Kumar And Baadshah’s Ode To The 90’s – Shehar Ki Ladki

Raveena Tandon and Suneil Shetty had created a storm with their superhit song *Shehar Ki Ladki* in the golden 90s and to recreate the magic of that peppy number, the versatile  Tulsi Kumar has lent her voice to the latest version along with rap king Badshah. An extremely peppy and upbeat rendition that will have you tapping your feet with Tulsi’s spirited singing and the rap by the king of Rap Baadshah and is all set to be your favourite party number.

Singer Tulsi Kumar says, “Sheher ki Ladki is an iconic song that I have grown up listening to and it’s an honor to be singing for the iconic Raveena Tandon who has been a rage of the 90’s. This is my first song with Badshah and he’s a powerhouse of talent and a pleasure to work with. Post the dubbing, when I met Badshah, he said he loved my rendition and it has really encouraged me to do more of these fast-paced catchy numbers. We were both asked to understand the vibe of the 90s for this song, and at the same time, create a contemporary version using our strengths and I feel the very talented Tanishq Bagchi has struck the right vibe maintaining its old charm and yet offering something new. The bridge of this song is a new composition with added lyrics and there is an excellent rap which Badshah has absolutely aced. This one is really special and is our ode to the 90s.”

Tulsi Kumar has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood and has given many chartbusters this year. Her song Tu Laung Main Elaichi became a rage amongst audiences and the latest Tera Bann Jaunga from Kabir Singh has also garnered immense love. Shehar Ki Ladki will be her next song, where she showcases her proficiency and command over expressions. The song is a part of the upcoming film Khandaani Shafakhana and has Diana Penty featured in the video.
