TV actress Saumya Tandon robbed in Turkey

TV actress Saumya Tandon has recently been vacationing in Turkey with her husband Saurabh Devendra Singh. However, her expedition recently hit a speed breaker when the Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress was robbed  of ₹60000 by a taxi driver in Turkey. 

In an official statement given to Indian Express, Saumya said, “The taxi driver stole 800 euros (₹57,672) from my purse, it was very disturbing but it has made me wiser and more informed and cautious. Police couldn’t help me because I didn’t have the receipt of the travel so no license plate number. The lesson for all tourists travelling is always taking the taxi receipt for safety.”

The actress then said that rather than contemplating the incident, she took it in the most positive manner possible. She is now traveling in trams and discovering the hidden gems of Istanbul like a local would. Not only that, she also happened to meet a group of Indians who were big fans of her show and were excited to meet their favourite actress on the streets of Istanbul!

The actress later took to Twitter to inform her fans that she has recovered completely from the incident, is absolutely fine and having an absolutely great time with her husband.
