'&TV artists: The summer season has arrived, and with it comes the opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy the sand. To ensure that our skin remains healthy, glowing, and hydrated throughout the summer, &TV artists share their secret skincare routines. Neha Joshi (Yashoda, Doosri Maa) - Summer skincare

Neha Joshi, essaying Yashoda in &TV’s show Doosri Maa, shares, “Hydrate to Radiate! That's the golden rule of skincare that cannot be ignored. I'm currently shooting my show in the scorching hot city of Jaipur, where the sun seems to be trying to melt everything in sight. As an actor, maintaining healthy skin is paramount to me, and I've discovered that the key to achieving it is drinking at least three litres of water daily. I always keep a water bottle by my side, whether on set or working out.  I'm a huge advocate of using natural and organic skincare products, such as face oils and aloe gel, which help to keep my skin moisturized.

Additionally, I use homemade face packs made with milk, turmeric, honey, gram flour, and scrubs to nourish my skin during the summer. And guess what? Curd is my go-to summer saviour! It's a natural de-tanner that helps to keep my skin looking fresh and healthy. I apply it to my face twice a week as it's a hydrating exfoliator that removes dead skin cells, reduces blemishes, and works as a spot cleanser. With its numerous benefits, curd makes my skin happy and glowing. So, if you're looking for a simple yet effective way to keep your skin hydrated and nourished during the summer, don't forget to try curd!

Kamna Pathak (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) Summer skincare

Kamna Pathak, aka Rajesh Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, Summertime requires extra love and care for our skin, and hydration is key! With the sun beating down on us and the sweat pouring out, our faces can often look oily and dull. But don't worry. I have a secret summer herb remedy that can rescue you – rose water! Rose water is a powerful skin tonic that enhances blood circulation on the skin's surface, making it one of my favorite summer skincare hacks. It's jam-packed with vitamins and minerals like calcium and potassium, vital for our skin cells' health. And the best part? It's suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin!

I mix 100 ml of rose water with a teaspoon of pure glycerine, store it in an airtight bottle, and voila! I've a hydrating potion that nourishes my skin without making it oily. I use it to relieve dullness on my face and arms, and it works wonders every time. I carry it everywhere, whether shooting or stepping out of the house, because summer skincare shouldn't be compromised. So, summer is already here, and it's time to show our skin some extra love and care. Try this rose water remedy and let your skin glow!”

Vidisha Srivastava (Anita, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) summer skincare

Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Summertime can be tough on our skin, and with all the heat and sweat, it's important to keep it clean and fuss-free. That's why I like to use my kind of skincare routine.

My go-to remedy for a clean and clear complexion is a simple yet effective face scrub with two tablespoons of sea salt, one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, and a few drops of olive oil.

I apply this scrub to my face at least twice weekly to remove excess dirt and oil, leaving my skin refreshed and rejuvenated. But that's not all! After much sun exposure, I turn to another trusty remedy – washing my face with buttermilk. Not only does it relieve burning skin, but it also lightens the tan, as curd has natural bleaching properties. And don't forget to exfoliate your lips and neck for a complete summer skincare routine! So, there you have it, my secret to clean and healthy skin during the hot summer months. Give it a try, and have a happy, glowing summer!”
