As we welcome 2025, actors from &TV reflect on meaningful traditions that promote positivity, connection, and personal growth. These rituals ranging from strengthening relationships to honoring nature and setting intentions show how these actors including Ravi Mahashabde (Krishan Bihari Vajpayee in Atal), Amit Bharadwaj (Mewa in Bheema), Himani Shivpuri (Katori Amma in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Vidisha Srivastava (Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) plan to make the first day of the year memorable.

Actors Share New Year Rituals to Begin 2024 Meaningfully

Ravi Mahashabde, known for playing Krishan Bihari Vajpayee in Atal, says, "For me, the first day of the year is like a blank canvas. I begin with meditation and think about my goals for the year ahead. Later, I visited a Ganesha temple, a tradition that filled me with a sense of protection and positivity. This ritual sets the tone for a peaceful and purposeful year."

Amit Bharadwaj, who portrays Mewa in Bheema, shares, "The first day of the year is always exciting. Ever since my daughter was born, I have dedicated this day to bonding with her. Whether it's a trip to the park or playtime at the mall, the joy of spending time together is unmatched. This year, my wife and I plan to take her to the beach. These small moments strengthen our bond and rejuvenate my spirit."

Himani Shivpuri, who plays Katori Amma in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, says, "My love for plants inspires my annual tradition of planting a sapling on the first day of the year. Watching it grow throughout the year brings me immense joy and gratitude. This year, I’ll involve my son in the ritual, and we’ll each plant a sapling together. It’s my way of fostering a greener future while embracing growth and positivity."

Vidisha Srivastava, known as Anita Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, "My New Year ritual is simple yet heartfelt - I call my family and friends to personally wish them a Happy New Year. It’s my way of reminding myself how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life. No matter where they are, reaching out to them is a non-negotiable part of my day. This year will be no different."

Watch Atal at 8:00 PM, Bheema at 8:30 PM, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan at 10:00 PM, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai at 10:30 PM, every Monday to Friday on &TV!
