In recent episodes, Baani’s family – the Khannas, moved into Lavanya’s (Bhaweeka Chaudhary) house, where Baani’s husband Rajat (Aakash Ahuja) is already staying. As the family struggles to adapt to Lavanya’s extravagant lifestyle, Baani comes to their rescue by bringing homemade desi food. However, this angers Lavanya, who manipulates Rajat into scolding Baani against his will. In the upcoming episodes, Baani finalizes her divorce notice with the support of her lawyer Maahir (Gaurav Sharma) and hands over the papers to Rajat. While Lavanya is shocked yet secretly pleased, Rajat is stunned and heartbroken. During the court hearing, with both families in attendance, the judge orders Baani and Rajat to live together for six months to try and reconcile. This unexpected twist takes Lavanya and Rajat aback while the family holds onto hope for a resolution. Will this last chance bring Baani and Rajat closer, or will Lavanya’s schemes drive them apart for good? Amandeep Sidhu, who essays the role of Baani in the show, says, "For Baani, the relationship feels over because she truly believes Rajat has chosen Lavanya over her. She’s deeply hurt and feels betrayed. The divorce proceedings have only added to the complexity of their situation, and Lavanya’s constant scheming is making things even more challenging for Baani. I feel the key to resolving this is communication. With the court ordering them to live together, there’s hope that this forced proximity might give them a chance to finally talk and address the misunderstandings."
