Fahmaan Khan Puts Heart and Soul into 'Krishna-Mohini' Characters

Fahmaan Khan, who started his career as a model, started his television career with 'Kya Kasoor Hai Amla Ka?' But he got recognition by playing the character of Dr. Veer Pratap Singh in the Zee TV serial 'Apna Time Bhi Aayega' and Aryan Singh Rathore in Star Plus serial 'Imli'. Apart from television serials, Fahmaan has also worked in many web shows and music videos. Let us tell you that currently Fahmaan is seen in Colors TV serial 'Krishna-Mohini'.

Fahmaan Shines in Colors TV's 'Krishna-Mohini'

You are returning to Colors channel with the show 'Krishna-Mohini', what would you like to say about it?

I never went anywhere with Colors. My show before this was also on Colors. Everyone has liked the promo of the show, and this show is much more than this promo. There are many things in this show that we know about but we don't want to talk about it. If our show can reach even ten people out of a hundred and we can make them understand about it, it will mean that we have completed our work. It is a story of love, a story of a charioteer, and a story of a brother-sister relationship. And if we look at it from my character's side, it is a story between him and his family members. How my character remains a charioteer for people like Krishna remains a charioteer for Mohan. What happens if the lives of these two meet, this is our story.

What new will the audience get to see in this character?

I think the answer to this question can be in two parts. The first thing is that while playing every character, it is said that 70% is the characteristics and qualities of that character and 30% is you in it. As much as I understand a character, if I am not working wholeheartedly in playing that character, then I will not be able to make that character genuine. I cannot say that I have never played such a character because every character will have some qualities which will be different and seeing which people will feel that this character is not Fahmaan, it is someone else. While playing every character, I keep in mind that I should play that character only and not bring my qualities into it. This character will be a little different from my other characters but there may be some similarities too.

Did you do any special preparation or face any challenges to play this character?

There is a special preparation before playing every character. Because every character is different, there are difficulties. Because every character has a different way of talking, different pauses, different characters have different intelligence. Our understanding of each character is also different.

How was the experience of working with Debattama?

Debattama is a very nice girl and also a very good actor. It is fun working with him. I think our pairing is going to be a hit.
