Naqiyah Haji & Rajveer Singh Reflects on the Power of Freedom This Independence Day

India is a land rich in history and diversity, celebrates its Independence Day with great pride and fervour. The sense of patriotism runs deep in the hearts of every Indian, as they come together to honour their heritage and values. To commemorate this special occasion, we have Naqiyah Haji and Rajveer Singh from Star Bharat’s show Shaitani Rasmein and 10:29 ki Akhari Dastak sharing reflections on what independence means to them, offering fans a glimpse into their patriotic sentiments this Independence Day.

Naqiyah Haji, beaming with pride, says, "Independence Day for me means that with great power comes great responsibility. Freedom carries power, and we must cherish it and use it wisely to make our own golden mark on the world. I think I would like to celebrate it by obviously attending the flag hoisting in my building or if I want to shoot I'm sure we would do something over there and along with that I would love to watch a patriotic film and just enjoy our independence.”

 

I think I'm extremely, extremely proud of our country for how far we've come and how well we are progressing forward and I'm sure we'll keep getting better and better and I'm truly grateful to our country, our people and the way we are growing. I think that this Independence Day, we should all promise ourselves that we'll be better citizens, we'll be better people, we'll keep helping our country grow, and we'll always use our independence rightly and correctly. 

Emphasizing its significance for every Indian. He says, “Independence Day is a special day for every Indian. On this day, we remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. They fought bravely to give us the freedom we enjoy today. When I think about Independence Day, I feel proud to be a part of a country with such a rich history and culture. It’s a day to celebrate our unity and diversity and to remember that we are all one despite our differences. On this day, I hope we all take a moment to appreciate the freedom we have and remember the responsibility that comes with it. Let’s use our freedom to spread love, kindness, and positivity. As we celebrate, let’s also think about how we can contribute to our country’s growth and make it a better place for everyone. Happy Independence Day to all! Jai Hind!”
