Priya Shinde on Her Role in Star Bharat’s '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak'

Priya Shinde, known for her versatile roles in various renowned shows, has made significant strides in the television industry since her stint as a reality show contestant. Currently, she stars in Star Bharat’s recently launched supernatural thriller, '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak'. In the show, she portrays Malini, the wife of Pablo Tripathi, played by Krip Suri, also known as 'Daddy Ji'. Priya shares insights into her character and discusses the similarities and differences between her reel and real life.

Actress Reveals Contrast Between Her Role as Malini and Real-Life

She says, “I play the character of Malini in the show. Malini is a sweet, simple housewife who lives in fear of her husband, who torments her. She is willing to do anything for him out of that fear. This role is quite different from my real-life personality. While Malini is soft and naïve, I am outspoken and strong. My character’s husband is her biggest fear and tormentor, but in real life, I am blessed with a very supportive husband. Malini is unlike any character I’ve ever portrayed. She embodies a simplicity that many women can relate to, especially those who are still treated as inferior by their husbands.”

Discussing the show’s unique concept and why she chose to be a part of it, Priya adds, “The show’s concept is very unique. After my maternity break, I was looking for something exciting and different. It’s an intriguing blend of supernatural elements and thriller aspects that will surely keep viewers on the edge of their seats. I hope they continue to love the show and my character Malini in '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak'.”
