Rishi Saxena Opens Up on Nervous Slap Scene in Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi, Credits Sumbul

Sumbul Touqeer Khan Helps Rishi Nail Slap Scene

In one of the show’s recent scenes, audiences witnessed an intense and emotionally charged slap sequence involving Sanjay and Anvita, a moment that marked a significant turning point in the storyline. While the scene appeared seamless on screen, Rishi admits that shooting it wasn’t easy. Performing such a sensitive scene for the first time left him nervous and unsure, but the moment turned into a memorable learning experience thanks to his co-star Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s support and understanding.

Rishi Saxena opened up about his experience shooting the scene, “I have done intense scenes in the past, but this time it was different, and I was nervous as I was slapping a woman. I discussed the scene with Sumbul, and since we are both committed actors, we decided to approach the scene with full dedication and conviction. The scene was extremely intense, but it was a pleasure working with Sumbul as she understood the intensity required and supported me right through the shoot."
