Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has returned with an all-new season, featuring a fresh panel of mentors- Sachin-Jigar, Sachet Parampara, and Guru Randhawa, alongside Vipul Roy and Salman Ali as the hosts this time around. With the first few episodes of the season, the contestants have already started captivating the hearts of the audience as well as the mentors of the show.

This weekend, all the contestants will be seen showcasing their talents to impress the mentors and the audience & deliver a blockbuster performance. However, it was Bihar’s contestant Jay Jha's performance to the song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ which caught everyone’s attention. Jay shared how mentors Sachin and Jigar guided him to deliver this flawless performance. Sachin revealed that he learned a technique from the iconic singer Sonu Nigam when they (Sachin Jigar) were assisting Rajesh Roshan during the recording of the song ‘Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani’ from the movie Krrish (2006).

Sachin went on to share an interesting technique followed by Padma Shri and National Award Winner, Sonu Nigam which helped him deliver the song.

Sachin said, "I was very young when Jigar and I used to assist Rajesh Roshan ji, and that’s when we met Sonu bhaiya for the first time, he had come to record the Krrish movie song Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani. The kind of singer he is, I thought singing this song must be a left-handed game for him. But what we saw just blew our minds. He came and wrote down the entire song in his book and then marked the areas he wanted to improvise. Before recording any song, a singer always has some thoughts in his mind that usually collide in his head and disturb him during his performance. So, when Jay was a little confused about how to deliver his song, that’s when I told him to use this technique of writing down the whole song and marking the areas. I am glad this method really worked out for him."

While mentor Sachin is happy to pass on the wisdom to the contestants of the show, wait till you watch the other contestants put their best foot forward and win the hearts of the audiences.
