Sony SAB’s Gatha Shiv Parivaar Ki - Ganesh Kartikey is currently unfolding one of its most tender chapters - Maa Parvati (Shrenu Parikh) welcoming Riddhi (Narayani Varne) and Siddhi (Shreya Patel) into their new home, a moment filled with grace, warmth, and a sense of divine belonging. While the scene appears serene on screen, between takes it unfolded through small, deeply human moments that quietly shaped its emotion.

As the crew reset lights and cameras, Shrenu Parikh remained seated beside the young actors, gently walking them through the scene once again. At one point, she softly corrected a hand movement, laughing and saying it reminded her of a rehearsal moment earlier that morning. The children listened intently, nodding, clearly reassured. These unguarded pauses filled with smiles, whispers, and shared understanding set the tone for what would eventually translate into a seamless on-screen welcome.

Reflecting on these moments, Shrenu Parikh, playing the role of Goddess Parvati, shared, “Between takes, there was one moment where one of them forgot a cue, and we all just laughed it off. I remember telling them that even if something goes wrong, it’s okay, what matters is how you feel in the scene. Those little conversations stay with you. When we went back for the take, there was a calmness and trust that made the scene flow very naturally.”

Narayani Varne, playing the role of Riddhi, recalled a small but memorable interaction, saying, “I remember during a break, I was a little confused about where to look in the scene. Shrenu ma’am sat next to me and explained it like a story, not like a shot. She even acted it out once, which made me laugh and understand it instantly. After that, the scene felt easy, and I was happy to perform.”

Adding her own memory, Shreya Patel, playing the role of Siddhi, shared, “There was a moment when we were waiting for the camera to roll, and Shrenu ma’am asked us if we were nervous. When we said yes, she told us to just think of it as coming home. That stayed in my head during the take. Even when we were having fun between shots, that feeling helped me stay in the emotion when the scene started.”

These fleeting, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, shared laughter over missed cues, quiet reassurance during breaks, and gentle storytelling became the emotional backbone of the track, ensuring that Maa Parvati’s welcome of Riddhi and Siddhi felt just as sincere behind the camera as it does on screen.
