Sony SAB’s mythological saga Gatha Shiv Parivaar Ki - Ganesh Kartikey brings forth one of mythology’s most emotional chapters as Goddess Sati (Shrenu Parikh) reaches Kailash and is accepted by Lord Shiva aka Avinesh Rekhi, marking the beginning of their sacred union. As wedding rituals begin and Naradh (Daksh Sharma) carries invitations across realms, joy fills the surroundings, but a painful truth shadows the celebration.

When Narad arrives at King Daksh’s (Nagesh Sajwan) court with the wedding invitation, ego takes over. King Daksh refuses to accept the union and humiliates the message, declaring that no one from Goddess Sati’s family will attend. The rejection leaves a void in what should have been a daughter’s happiest moment. Yet, while a father turns away, the cosmos gathers in celebration. Gods arrive, nature rejoices, and Kailash shines in divine festivity. In a deeply moving moment, Lord Brahma (Radha Krishna Datta) steps forward to perform Goddess Sati’s kanya daan, setting a powerful example, that love, not pride, defines family, and in the absence of blood relations, those who stand with purity of heart can uphold sacred traditions.

Shrenu Parikh, who plays Goddess Sati, shared,

Shrenu Parikh calls it 'a blessing' to portray Goddess Parvati in 'Gatha Shiv Parivaar Ki – Ganesh Kartikey'

“This phase affected me more than I expected. I understood that to play Goddess Sati, I had to slow down a lot internally. I couldn’t rush into the scenes.  Sometimes I would sit quietly before shots and just think about what it feels like to hold something in to smile outside but feel a small heaviness inside. That contrast was very real for me. What stayed with me is how controlled her emotions are. She doesn’t break down loudly. Everything is in her eyes and in her stillness. As an actor, that kind of performance is challenging because you have to feel deeply without showing too much. I remember after a few scenes, I didn’t immediately switch back to normal I carried that emotion home. It was a very personal and special experience for me.”
