Sony TV's 'Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai': Addressing Society's Evils

The wall of society's customs stands between two families, two people, and their love. The story of Naren and Nandini is Sony TV's show 'Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai'. Zaan Khan and Meera Deosthale are seen in lead roles in the show.

The show talks about the customs of society, what would you like to say about it?

Meera- Our show ‘Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai’ is a show that talks about evils like dowry and other such evils that hurt us. All these things have been fitted in our episode very sweetly and in a very good way. With all these things, this show is the love story of Naren and Nandini. This is the story of love between two families and two people.

Zaan – There are a lot of flavors in the show. The show has a love story along with a social message, along with a love story there is a kitchen drama, along with it there is romance, along with it there is family bonding and relationship. Even today, she lives with a joint family in Gujarat and different cities. And when they live together, how do they live and what problems do they face? We can learn a lot through this. I think that if any person watches our show once, he will like our show.

Even before this, you had done a show on Sony, which people liked a lot. Now you are back on Sony again, how do you feel?

Zaan - I like doing Sony shows because they create very real content. Sony's shows are not too long, and there is not much drama. People can relate to Sony's shows, there is nothing in it that you may find strange after watching. I think if an actor is getting a chance to do this kind of content then it is a very good thing.

Meera, you have played many powerful characters before, and in this too your character is very powerful, what would you like to say about it?

Meera- I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to play such a character. I am grateful that I got the opportunity to play this character. This is a character who is much more than a television actress, she has her values, and she stands for the right things. I enjoy playing the character of Nandini a lot.

How was the experience of working with each other?

Zaan - We don't get along with each other at all (jokingly).

Meera- When we did the first mock shoot, we understood that our chemistry was very good.

There was a video of yours in which your name was announced regarding this show, what would you like to say about it?

Zan - I appeal to all the channelists and countrymen to make this video viral because it has never happened in the TV industry that a producer has announced his next hero in front of 50 thousand people and that too a month before the show. This was a very special moment for me when Sir announced my name in front of so many people. I am very thankful to him for this opportunity.

Zaan - I would like to tell all the viewers of Mayapuri and Meera and my fans that please watch our show 'Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai' on Sony TV and give us a lot of love.
