The TV series 'Pratibaddh', produced under the banner of Sarthak Chitram for the OTT channel Waves, launched by Prasar Bharati Broadcasting Corporation, will soon reach viewers. This TV series will feature Ayub Khan, Raju Kher, Avinash Sajwani, Yash Singh, Akshama, Abhinav Chaturvedi, Aastha Chaudhary, Brijendra Kala, Kishori Shahane, Shweta Rastogi, Damini Dave, Deepti Mishra, Akshita Arora, Preeti Kochar, the renowned Lucknow-based actress Dr. Anita Sehgal, and many new artists showcasing their acting talent.

The co-producers of 'Pratibaddh' are Akash Vashisht and Dinesh Sehgal, the cinematographer is Mukesh Sharma, the editor is Mahendra Kumar, the creative head is Archana Saikia, the production head is Praveen Sorte, and the art director is Mahendra Raut. It is worth noting that the TV series 'Pratibaddh', which highlights human emotions and is being directed by Siddharth Nagar, a renowned director in the field of television, had its auspicious launch on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple in Vrindavan. Currently, the production of this TV series is nearing completion, and its writer, producer, and director, Siddharth Nagar, has become a topic of discussion in Bollywood. Writer, producer, and director Siddharth Nagar has been associated with the entertainment industry since childhood.

His strong family background has also contributed to this. He inherited his film knowledge and understanding from his maternal grandfather, the famous litterateur Padma Bhushan Amritlal Nagar, and his mother, the renowned writer Dr. Achla Nagar. Having been interested in the field of entertainment since childhood, Siddharth Nagar started his career as a childartist at the age of 8. He began his directorial journey in 1979 at the young age of 14 with a play based on Munshi Premchand's 'Eidgah', which was praised by renowned critics of the time. Immediately afterward, he acted as a lead in the South Indian Tamil film 'Nandu', directed by the renowned director Mr. J. Mahendran. This marked the beginning of a successful career, and Siddharth went on to play the role of a young villain in Rajshri Productions' 'Babul'.

After working in several films as both an actor and a villain for a few years, in 1998, he embarked on a new journey as a producer with the serial 'Dadi Amma', which premiered during Doordarshan's afternoon broadcast slot. Siddharth Nagar, who has written and directed the popular TV serials 'Raghukul Reet Sada Chali Aayi', 'Koi To Ho Ardhanarishwar', and 'Saab Ji', has produced and directed over 3000 hours of programming for Doordarshan and its affiliated channels. Having been associated with approximately 35 serials in various capacities as an actor, producer, writer, or director, Siddharth Nagar has also worked for ETV, Zee TV, and Star Plus, in addition to Doordarshan, and is currently actively working in Bollywood with the same dedication and commitment.
