&TV’s Love Me India Is All Set For A Tough Battle With The Top 10 Contestants

With an attempt to spread the magic of music amongst millions across the nation, &TV began a melodious musical journey with the launch of its first ever LIVE singing reality show for kids, Love Me India. With the selection of the top 10 contestants, the show is now set to commence on an even more fierce yet exciting battle ahead. Developed by Essel Vision Productions, the show brought forth talented kids, aged 5-15 years from different zones of India – North, South East and West. Its unique and interactive format has not just given the reign to the entire nation to choose India’s young singing sensation, but also hands them a substantial amount of voting power over the judges. The show that transformed the current reality space in the country, while showcasing extravagant performances by some of the most talented singers of the nation, airs LIVE every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm only on &TV.  

Following several eventful weeks and nail-biting episodes with 48 young contestants giving their best shot at showcasing their talent, India has now chosen the finest who will be seen preparing themselves for the next round of intense zonal battles.

Supporting these kids in their exciting journey are the musical maestros of the industry, the High Rated Gabru, Guru Randhawa along with the elegant and soulful singer, Neha Bhasin. Joining this esteemed panel of judges is the actor, singer, composer and industry’s favourite judge, Himesh Reshammiya.

Each of the four zones are led by a captain who play the role of a guide and mentor, teaching and motivating these young singers and further nurturing their talent. Leading the West zone with full force is Maharashtra’s favorite, Abhijeet Sawant, while the Gulabo singer Anusha Mani reigns over the South zone. Spreading her charm and leading the talent of the East zone is Bhoomi Trivedi of Ram-Leela fame, along with actor, singer and pride of Punjab, Navraj Hans who has taken control over the North zone.

Engaging with its audience on a real-time basis while enhancing the current audience engagement process followed across the reality show arena, Love Me India provides its viewers with the chance to vote live for their favorite singer by logging on to the Zee5 app.

Speaking about the top 10 contestants and his visit to Delhi, popular singer Abhijeet Sawant said, “I am proud of all the kids who have made it this far, considering the pressures, challenges and sheer competitiveness that they had to deal with it. Owing to the format of the show, while it feels sad to eliminate contestants, I hope to provide all the support and confidence to the current contestants, who have a tough battle waiting ahead of them.  Love Me India stage has set the bar tremendously high and I can’t wait to see where the competition will go from here. Delhi has always been one of my favorite cities and the positive energy and vibes that this city gives is always encouraging. Hence, I see why it is aptly known as ‘Dilwalon ki Dilli’. This city has always showered me with immense amount of love and I hope they keep doing so for our young contestants as well.”

Adding to his thoughts and sharing her experience as a captain, the melodious singer Bhoomi Trivedi said, “Stepping aboard as a captain is one of the most exciting firsts that I have had and undoubtedly the journey till now in Love Me India has been nothing short of exciting and challenging as well. I have had a rollercoaster of emotions, where on one hand I rejoiced in the celebration of a few of my zonal contestants making it to the Top 10, while on the other, I had to bid goodbye to a few exceptionally talented singers. Nevertheless, I am extremely proud of these 10 contestants who despite facing a number of challenges, never let their confidence down.  I am glad I got a chance to visit Delhi with our fellow contestants who were as excited as I was to visit the Capital city. Like always, we were greeted with great warmth and the aroma of Dilli’s delicious food.”
