During the shooting of film Hum Saath Saath Hain on October 1, 1998, Salman Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks which are an endangered species, near Jodhpur.
Salman Khan has been convicted by Jodhpur court while Saif, Tabu, and Sonali have been acquitted of all the charges. The court announced that the actor will get five years jail for the killing, as well as a fine of Rs. 10,000. The other four actors involved Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu have been charged under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
