The character of Laxmii in Akshay Kumar’s recent release has created a lot of curiosity. While R. Sarathkumar played the part in the Tamil horror-comedy, Kanchana, talented actor Sharad Kelkar essays the role in Laxmii. This was a surprise for the audience until the film released and Sharad made the audience go gaga over him instantly. Though the actor has a brief role of about 13-15 minutes, he has proved his mettle even in that part.

Twitterati couldn't stop gushing over Sharad and have been praising him. Apart from sharing applauding comments on social media, they have also been sharing his stills and videos from Laxmii with praiseworthy words. Moreover, netizens also called Sharad the soul of the film for his extended cameo role.

Earlier this year, Kelkar played Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, starring Ajay Devgn in the titular role.
