ULLU drops the trailer of Cyanide – The Story of a Serial Killer with Sharib Hashmi & Sara Khan in the lead!

ULLU, India’s fastest growing OTT app has a library of multi-genre content to offer to its viewers.

It has created a niche for itself by bringing content inspired by real life incidents. After the success of Tandoor, Assi Nabbe Poore Sau and alike, ULLU is now set to release a gut wrenching series named CYANIDE.

Sharib Hashmi & Sara Khan will be seen playing the lead roles in this thriller series.

The story is inspired by the life of a serial killer. Cyanide – a serial killer would kill women by giving them cyanide pills claiming they were contraceptive pills post marrying them.

His prey’s would be women who couldn’t find a perfect match for them or who are under the pressure of dowry.

Why would he kill women by luring them into marrying him? What made him a person with such hatred towards women?

Directed by internationally acclaimed director Rahat Kazmi, the series boasts of an eclectic cast with the power house performer Sharib Hashmi, Sara Khan, Akshita Agnihotri, Mir Sarwar, and others.

On playing the role of Aisha, Sara Khan quipped, “I play the character of Cyanide’s wife in the show named Aisha.

Aisha is an independent woman living with her in-laws even after the death of her husband; with a 7 years old son who means to world to her.

Falling in the prey of Cyanide’s love was her biggest mistake but that mistake made her the only witness who knew about his wrongdoings.

We shot in the beautiful locales of Kashmir in the winter. There are various folds to the story as and when it proceeds and we are sure the audience will be hooked till the end!”

Produced by Vibhu Agarwal and ULLU Digital, Cyanide is all set to release on 19th November 2021 on the app.
