VEERE SONAM KAPOOR LENDS SUPPORT TO SWARA BHASKAR

Despite of its growing numbers at the box office, Sonam Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding is surrounded by a lot of controversies and debates for its content, scenes and language. Netizens making trolling the actors of the film especially, Swara Bhaskar who has been targeted by some sanskaari netizens for her masturbation scene in the film and for her reaction after the film is declared banned in Pakistan.

After which one of her best buddy in the film and as well as her life Sonam Kapoor has supported her by saying, "People hate Swara because she has an opinion, and the other side of hate is love, so indirectly the people actually love her". And after this statement Pakistani audience assumed that Sonam has supported Swara's comments on Pakistan, and bashed her on social media.

Veere Di Wedding is not the film showing such scenes or using double meaning dialogues. We have already witness films like Kya Kool Hai Hum, Mastizade and Grand Masti but people never care to talk about the sanskaar and Bharatiya sanskarti. But, films about women or film in which women are talking or showing their desires, fantasies or abusive language are always targeted by some of our narrow-minded or so-called sansakaari Indians.

The film has broken the box-office records to record the third-highest opening day collections in 2018. It earned Rs 10.70 crore on its opening day alone and currently racing towards the Rs 50-crore mark at the box office.
