Veteran artist from Odisha film industry Mihir Das passes away

Sad news has come out from the Odisha film industry that renowned film actor Mihir Das has passed away at the age of 64, let us tell you that he was battling with a kidney disease for a long time due to which he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Cuttack.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of veteran actor Mihir Das, he tweeted and wrote- I am deeply saddened to hear the news of his demise, his demise is an irreparable loss to the Odia cinema industry, I pray for his family that they get strength to overcome this loss, along with Odisha's CM the people from the Odisha film industry have also condoled his death.

Let us tell you that Mihir Das had started his film career from the year 1979 with the film ' Mathura Vijay ' . and along with this he worked in many big films, However for some time he was far away from the film world, he was also honored for his acting and got the Best Actor Award by the state government for the film ' Lakshmi Pratima ' .
