Veteran hero-singer Biswajeet-da and family under treatment for Corona

Already, over 18 Bollywood celebs including Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Aamir Khan etc. are recovering or have recovered from dreaded Corona- Chaitanya Padukone

Now comes the disturbing news that popular suspense-hero cum-musical lover-boy of the retro- 'golden era', veteran actor Biswajeet Chatterjee ( now 84 years) tested Corona positive last week and is under medical supervision-treatment as he battles against Covid 19, informs his actress-dancer daughter Prima (Shambhavi) Chatterjee.

Sharing further details, Prima discloses that even she herself and her mother Ira Chatterjee are also diagnosed with Covid-19 positive symptoms.

She continues, “ The distressing part is that my mother has also suffered a brain-stroke and is under intensive treatment for that ailment as well.

My dad (Biswajeet-Da) has misplaced his mobile phone and that has added further to our woes and stress.

My dad has always said that the love-adulation of his loyal global fans-audiences keeps me in full swing and he derives his energy from there and specially from blessings of Maa Durga-debi.

So we are hopefully-optimistic that we will return to normal conditions very soon, “ insists Prima who has also informed regarding this development to her Kolkata-based ‘half-brother’ Bengali movies superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee The affable veteran actor-singer Biswajeet is known for landmark super-hit Hindi retro-movies like 'Bees Saal Baad', 'Kohraa', ' April Fool' , Mere Sanam' 'Kismat' and of course 'Main Sunder Hoon' etc .
