Veteran Journalist Pradeep Sardana to be conferred with ‘Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism’

New Delhi; 11 February 2021: Senior Journalist, Well-known Film Critic and Chief Editor of ‘Punarvas’, Pradeep Sardana to be honored with Mahatma Gandhi National Award for Journalism, for his immense & remarkable contribution in the field of Journalism. During the ‘Global Festival of Journalism’, International Chamber of Media & Industry will confer this prestigious award to Mr. Sardana on 14th February 2021, who is having many notable achievements associated with his name in Journalism.

Have been active in Journalism from last 45 years, Mr. Pradeep Sardana has remained associated with almost all Top & Prestigious Media Houses, News Channels, Radio and Web Portals. Started his Journalism career at an early age of just 14, Mr. Sardana has been honored with many eminent awards in the field of Writing, Journalism, Poetry, along with Television and Cinema.

The credit of initiating regular journalism on Television in India also goes to him, in addition of having a proud achievement of being the Youngest Editor in the country in the age of just 17.

He successfully holds a national record on his name as well, of remaining live on leading 6 National News Channels for 52 hours in 4 Days.
