Veteran Kathak dancer Birju Maharaj passed away, PM Modi expressed his grief

Birju Maharaj alias Pandit Brijmohan Mishra who has won the hearts of everyone around the world with his Kathak dance has now passed away on Sunday at the age of 83 due to heart attack, his grandson and granddaughter have given this sad news to his fans.

Let us tell you that, while giving information his granddaughter had said that the legendary dancer Birju Maharaj was undergoing treatment from the last one month nd yesterday he was unable to breathe between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm, he was in pain after which he was taken to the hospital in 10 minutes, but he could not be saved.

Later his grandson Swaransh Mishra informed about his death by posting on Facebook, he wrote 'It is with great sadness that we have to say that today we have lost the most special member of our family, Pandit Birju Ji Maharaj, forever. He breathed his last on 17th January, pray for his soul to rest in peace.
