VICKY KAUSHAL EXCITED TO PLAY PUNJABI CHARACTER IN MANMARZIYAAN

Vicky Kaushal is having a handful of upcoming projects in his kitty. The actor will be seen in Raazi along with Alia Bhatt which is a period thriller drama. Apart from Raazi, Vicky is also a part of the Manmarziyaan team where he will feature along with Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. Manmarziyaan is a romantic drama which is set in the backdrop of Punjab and had a long shooting schedule in Amritsar.

Manmarziyaan is directed by Anurag Kashyap and is produced by Aanand L Rai where Vicky will portray the character of a Punjabi boy in the film.

According to a leading daily, the actor shared his experience saying, " I had so much fun during the shooting of the film. The city is like that...with so much positivity. We had a great time. Being a Punjabi, this is the first time that I got a chance to play a Punjabi... My alter ego was just bursting out."

The actor will be also seen in the upcoming movie Sanjay Dutt biopic 'Sanju' where he will essay the character of Kumar Gaurav in the movie.

Manmarziyaan is written by Kanika Dhillon and is slated to release on September 7.
