What can be bigger than Vicky Kaushal singing your song on his Instagram story and admitting openly that he is “obsessed with this song”? Not surprisingly, - Jyothi Venkatesh
Manan Bhardwaj, the singer of Shiddat’s title track, “Tujhko bana doon main apna khuda” is a happy man today.
If you were to ask him, “How’s the josh?” his answer undoubtedly would be, “High sir!”
The song, picturized on Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty, was launched on September 15. And in just a couple of days, it is on everyone’s lips, including Vicky’s.
As the actor croons, “Chhute kabhi na who aadat bana loon, aa shiddat bana loon tujhe…”, the sky and the sea behind him, his voice reflecting the passion in the words and his smile embracing the moment that we wait all our lives to experience, many hearts will be skipping a beat.
Shiddat, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan, is directed by Kunal Deshmukh who had given us the unforgettable Jannat earlier.
Its romantic title track marks the debut of Manan Bhardwaj as a singer, who has also penned the song and set it to music.
The film starts streaming on Disney+Hotstar from October 1. Till then, with Manan, Vicky and Sunny, croon, “Kismet bana loon, meri chhahat bana loon... aa shiddat bana loon tujhe.”
