Vikas Verma Returns To Chandragupta Maurya As The Monster!

Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s historical mega series based on the life of orphaned & abandoned Chandragupta Maurya who went on to built the largest empires on the Indian subcontinent will only get better with the entry of the malignant & despicable Seleucus Nicator who served under Alexander. Vikas Verma, critically acclaimed for playing the antagonist in Sridevi starrer Mom will be seen playing villainous general Seleucus Nicator. Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain has created enough buzz for being the sinister King Dhananand & viewers love to hate him. Seleucus, a pivotal character also a part of Siddharth’s previous show Porus will be included in Chandragupta Maurya as it is an extension of the former. The light-eyed actor excitedly shares about his role, ‘I read it somewhere, the measure of a hero is always his nemesis. Sometimes the world doesn’t need another hero, sometimes what it needs is a monster & Seleucus is that monster for India against whom Chandragupta & Chanakya will try to unite India. What great a hero Porus would have been had he not died fighting fierce fighters like Seleucus from Alexander’s army.’ ‘Now Seleucus, more powerful than even before, is advancing towards Chandragupta Maurya’s kingdom with only one goal in his eyes, to fulfill Alexander’s dream of conquering the kingdom. It is about to get more intense as Seleucus returns with more power & insinuating Chandragupta Maurya challenging him to prove his mettle,’ Vikas further adds.
