VIPUL SHAH CONFIRMS NAMASTEY CANADA WITH ARJUN AND PARINEETI

Remember how we told you about all the rumours surrounding Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's casting in the Namastey London sequel? Well, things just got a whole lot interesting on that front. The duo who will be seen in YRF's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar will also be seen in Namstey Canada! 

Recently director Vipul Shah decided to clear all the rumours associated with the film and confirmed that his next, Namastey Canada will pair up Arjun Kapoor with Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. While the title sounds like a sequel to Vipul's 2007-directorial Namastey London, this film has a fresh plot and no connection with the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif-starrer. The filmmaker, who has also produced movies like Singh is Kinng and Holiday said "I want to set the record straight. Namastey Canada is not a sequel to Namastey London. I thank Akshay for standing by me and being graceful about sharing the title with me. I'm also happy that Arjun and Parineeti agreed to join me on this journey. I hope this film becomes one of their best outings together."

Arjun, who will be teaming up with Vipul for the first time said, "I'm excited to be a part of this project. After working with giants like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, he has chosen me." Parineeti also opened up on the film and said, "This is exactly the film I was looking for! It's a desi story with a videshi heart. I'm excited to be directed by Vipul sir with whom I have shared an amazing friendship over the last few years."
